TIG Welder

My client is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join their specialist team. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in TIG welding with various materials including aluminium TIG Welder Job Overview Work in accordance with legislative and company requirements for Health Safety and the Environment.Use TIG welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies as required, to meet defined production schedules.Preparation and setup of tools and equipment in support of the welding activity.Preparation of parts for welding.Manufacture parts using jigs and fixtures and working to information contained within the works orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP''s).Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to ensure correct operation and continuous improvement of both process and product.Support Works order and process tracking via shop floor data capture systems and the company wide ERP system.Operation of basic tube manipulation and fabrication equipment (once training complete) as required.Review of finished assemblies and parts to ensure accuracy reporting issues via the Quality Assurance team.Perform other duties as requested by the Production Manager and Team Leader.Work on the development of new components as required.
