Role Profile-TIG welder This role is a hands-on position that is responsible for the welding of Aviation components. Working to tight tolerances, this position will primarily work on productionised components but should also have the flexibility to work on new product introduction. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities-TIG welder Participate in a positive and proactive EHS culture across the site. Experience in fitting small diameter tubes for Orbital welding to precise tolerances. Trade qualified with a recognised apprenticeship (City and Guilds etc.) Undertake TIG welding (manual, automatic and Orbital) to aircraft standards to fall in line with welding controls and processes. Read and interpret Engineering drawings. Read, interpret and follow batch cards ensuring that batch card discipline is adhered to at all times.
