Job Title: TIG Welder

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Contract: Long term, permanent

We are looking for experienced TIG Welders to join our team working at Hinkley Point C. This role involves welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework to a high standard, ensuring all work meets project quality and safety requirements.

Welder Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or Trade Apprenticeship
• Valid CCNSG or willing to obtain
• Successful applicants will be required to complete BPSS security screening and all relevant pre-employment checks prior to starting on site.

Welder Rates & Allowances

• Basic Rate: PAYE - -29.34 per hour

• OT1: -41.08 per hour (hours worked over 38 Monday - Friday, plus the first 4 hours on Saturday)

• OT2: -52.82 per hour (remaining Saturday hours and all hours worked on Sunday)
• Bonus: -2.94 per hour

• Shift Pattern: 10.5 hour shifts on a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation

• Accommodation Allowance: -355.67 per week

Potential earnings of approximately -4,100 per 10/4 rotation (before tax)*

Equivalent to approximately -107,000 per year before tax, based on working the advertised rotation continuously.

Figures are based on the advertised shift pattern, overtime and bonus payments. Accommodation allowance is additional.
