About the role: Coordinate and collaborate with team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of PPE and maintaining a hazard-free workspace, to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and troubleshoot issues during the welding process, such as equipment malfunctions or material defects. Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet internal and external quality standards (NADCAP and AS9100) and adhere to specifications, maintaining structural integrity and quality control. Maintain detailed records of welding jobs, including materials used, work completed, and any encountered issues, for quality control and documentation purposes. Perform precision TIG welding on a variety of aerospace components using exotic metals. Prepare metal components, ensuring proper alignment and setup for the welding process.
