Are you an experienced Welder with strong MIG and TIG skills?
Our client, a leading UK manufacturer supplying equipment to an expanding market, is looking for a skilled Welder to join their growing team in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term, stable employment in a clean and well-equipped workshop environment.
The Role:
As a Welder, you''ll be responsible for producing high-quality MIG and TIG welds on a variety of steel and stainless-steel components. Working from technical drawings, you''ll play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring all work meets exact specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and other materials
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication diagrams
- Carry out quality checks, ensuring clean and precise welds
- Maintain welding equipment and tools to a high standard
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve production deadlines
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
- Support wider fabrication and assembly tasks as required
About You:
- Proven MIG and TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and work accurately from engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong understanding of workshop safety and fabrication practices
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Welding qualifications or certifications (advantageous)
