A hire claim lands on your desk. The third party says the car was off the road for 41 days and the hire company wants 9,000. Your job is to work out whether that''s right. You check who was at fault. You look at the repair dates and ask why the hire carried on after the car was fixed. You compare the daily rate with what the market actually charges. Then you ring the accident management company and tell them what you''ll pay and why. That''s third party and credit hire handling here. What you''ll handle Third party vehicle and property damage claims, from first notification to settlement Liability investigations: gathering the evidence and making the call Credit hire validation: hire periods, rates and need, challenged where they don''t stack up Solicitors, insurers and accident management companies, by phone and in writing Fraud indicators, which you spot and escalate Who fits You''ve done motor claims already, whether that''s TPPD, credit hire, FNOL or accidental damage Personal injury and RTA handlers count too. You already argue liability and deal with solicitors every day You can hold your position on the phone when someone pushes back GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or above The pay and the deal 24,479 to 28,000 for developing handlers, rising to 35,000 for experienced third party or credit hire handlers 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
