      <description>Location: Leicestershire | Salary: &amp;pound;50000 - &amp;pound;60000/annum 10% Bonus, 33 days hols, Pension | Type: Permanent | Thin Film Coating Engineer Advanced Manufacturing  Leicester LE8   Up to £60k per annum + 10% Bonus 33 days'' holiday and Pension    The Role -  Thin Film Coating Engineer   We are looking for an experienced  Thin Film Coating Engineer  to join an advanced manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for the development, optimisation and production of sophisticated thin-film coating processes.  This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work across  process development, vacuum deposition, quality, metrology and continuous improvement , helping to take new coating designs from development through to stable, high-volume production.  You will work closely with R&amp;D, manufacturing, quality and engineering teams to ensure coating processes consistently meet demanding optical, electrical and mechanical specifications.   Key Responsibilities -  Thin Film Coating Engineer      Develop and optimise thin-film coating processes for production.   Design coating stacks and simulate thin-film performance using specialist software such as  Essential Macleod, TFCalc or OptiLayer .
