Thermal Insulation Engineers – Portsmouth

We are currently recruiting experienced Thermal Insulation Engineers to join our team in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major project with competitive hourly rates and overtime opportunities available.

Pay Rates

• Basic rate: £19.04 per hour
• Overtime × 1: £28.56 per hour
• Overtime × 2: £38.08 per hour
• Nightshift: £28.56 per hour
• Tier 2 allowance: Additional £6.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Install thermal insulation to pipework, ductwork, ventilation systems and equipment
• Measure, cut and fit insulation materials accurately
• Read and follow technical specifications and work instructions
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
• Inspect completed work and report any defects or issues
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all company and site health and safety procedures
• Work effectively as part of a wider project team

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Thermal Insulation Engineer
• Valid Blue or Gold TICA Skill Card
• Good knowledge of thermal insulation materials and installation methods
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and professional approach to work
