Theatre Staff (Zero-hours)

Brighton College is seeking to appoint Theatre Staff on a Zero-hour basis. Reporting to: Theatre Operations Manager Main purpose of the role: The Theatre Staff will work with the Performing Arts Team to deliver top customer service for all events held within the Richard Cairns Building and Music School. Role Summary The Theatre Staff play a key role within the Performing Arts Team supporting the patrons and other users of the Richard Cairns Building with the operational resources needed for their events. The main key objective of the Theatre Staff is to provide a friendly and welcoming environment for our audience and to ensure their safety and comfort throughout their visit. The ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for theatre, music and live events, as well as being customer focused and willing to go the extra mile. General Duties and Responsibilities: General Duties To arrive in good time to commence your shift and report to the Duty Manager for each show briefing; To ensure that the foyer, public areas, and Theatre spaces are kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times; To pick up any rubbish during intervals and following performances; To always act as a representative and ambassador of Brighton College; To attend department meetings and training sessions, as required; To be an active and supportive member of the Brighton College staff team; Any other reasonable management request.
