Key Responsibilities Ensuring adherence to clinical governance principles in all operations. Managing the admission and discharge process for patients on theatre days. Administering medication safely in line with NMC guidelines for the handling of medicines. Maintaining accurate records according to NMC standards. Providing scrub experience during clinical procedures. Reporting any accidents or incidents according to established procedures. Collaborating with consultants and the clinical team to deliver outstanding ophthalmic care. Preparing clinical areas by ensuring that all equipment is checked and ready for use prior to procedures.
