Pay: 225 - 250 per day Job type: Contract / Temporary Company: Sirona Medical About the role Sirona Medical is recruiting experienced Theatre HCAs for a range of NHS hospital Insourcing contracts across Scotland. You''ll support the theatre team through the whole perioperative pathway, helping to deliver safe and efficient patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. Assignments may include weekend cover in theatres, endoscopy, decontamination and day surgery units. What you''ll be doingPreparing theatres, equipment and instruments before, during and after proceduresHelping move and position patients safely, using correct manual handling techniquesSupporting scrub, anaesthetic and recovery teams as directedRestocking and checking theatre supplies and consumablesFollowing infection prevention and control standards at all timesTaking patients to and from wards, recovery and theatreKeeping accurate records in line with local policyWhat we''re looking forAt least 6 months'' NHS experience as a Theatre HCA (essential)Good knowledge of theatre etiquette, sterile fields and infection controlA current PVG scheme membership, or willingness to applyUp-to-date mandatory training (BLS, manual handling, infection control, safeguarding)Right to work in the UKTwo recent clinical references, including one from an NHS theatre manager or supervisorFlexibility to travel to sites across ScotlandEndoscopy or decontamination experience is an advantageWhat we offer 225 - 250 per day, depending ..... full job details .....
