Our client is seeking a dedicated Theatre and Venue Technician to join their vibrant team in Bolton.What You''ll Do:As a Theatre and Venue Technician, you''ll be at the heart of our live events, acting as the crucial first point of contact for ''get ins'' and ''get outs''. Your role will involve:Collaborating closely with artists, touring crews, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of all technical and logistical requirements.Assisting in the movement, rigging, and installation of technical equipment, while strictly adhering to Health and Safety regulations and best practises.Maintaining all technical equipment, including sound and lighting systems, ensuring they are performance-ready and securely stored.Operating sound (Allen and Heath), lighting (ETC and Zero88), and stage equipment to a high standard, showcasing your strong knowledge of theatrical systems.Supporting and supervising event staff, visiting technicians, and touring crews, including tasks that may require working at height and handling heavy equipment.Liaising with hirers, artists, and venue users to ensure safe and effective use of all technical equipment, providing guidance, support, and basic training as needed.Assisting in the setup ..... full job details .....
