What You''ll Do:
As a Theatre & Venue Technician, you''ll be at the heart of our live events, acting as the crucial first point of contact for ''get ins'' and ''get outs''. Your role will involve:
Collaborating closely with artists, touring crews, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of all technical and logistical requirements.
Assisting in the movement, rigging, and installation of technical equipment, while strictly adhering to Health and Safety regulations and best practises.
Maintaining all technical equipment, including sound and lighting systems, ensuring they are performance-ready and securely stored.
Operating sound (Allen and Heath), lighting (ETC & Zero88), and stage equipment to a high standard, showcasing your strong knowledge of theatrical systems.
Supporting and supervising event staff, visiting technicians, and touring crews, including tasks that may require working at height and handling heavy equipment.
Liaising with hirers, artists, and venue users to ensure safe and effective use of all technical equipment, providing guidance, support, and basic training as needed.
Assisting in the setup and dismantling of equipment for various events in the Albert Halls Complex and external locations, bringing your practical experience in live theatre to the forefront.
Maintaining an accurate inventory of technical assets, ensuring all items are appropriately stored, tracked, and controlled.
Engaging with external suppliers of technical equipment, ensuring that manuals and technical specifications are current and accessible.
