Duty Manager Pay Rate: £14.59 per hourStart Date: ASAPPositions Available: 1Location: Solihull, B91 3RGDuration: Temporary basis About the Role Opus People Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council on a temporary basis for a Duty Manager. This role offers regular evening and weekend work, with the potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day front of house operation, ensuring the smooth delivery of activities and events across all areas of the venue, including the Theatre, Studio, Library, Gallery, Encore Café, and Theatre Bar. The role involves leading and coordinating front of house staff and volunteers, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment for visitors, audiences, performers, hirers, and the wider community. This position requires a flexible approach, with regular evening, weekend, and bank holiday working to meet the operational demands of the venue. Rotas will be issued in advance and aligned to the venue''s programme of events on a casual basis. For the right candidates, there is potential for a permanent opportunity.
