Harlow Salary - Negotiable DOE Monday - Friday days Your new role: A leading manufacturer and innovator within the fire protection sector is seeking a hands-on Testing Engineer to join their Research and Development team in Harlow. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer or technician with testing, manufacturing, laboratory, or engineering experience who enjoys a practical role combining product testing, technical problem-solving, and project support.Working within a specialist RandD environment, you will play a key role in preparing and conducting fire tests, supporting product development activities, and ensuring testing programmes run effectively. The position offers a varied workload, combining technical testing, workshop activities, documentation, logistics, and occasional travel to customer and testing sites across the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare test specimens and installations for fire testing activities. Carry out practical assembly and installation work, including sheet metal and ductwork preparation. Support internal and external fire testing and manufacturing development programmes. Assist with test execution, data collection, and technical reporting. Interpret and work to relevant technical standards and procedures.
