Tester (Automation) - Manchester Location: Manchester (Hybrid)Contract Type: Agency Worker - Inside IR35Start Date: ASAPDuration: 6 months Hours: 37.5 hours per week *Urgent 6 Month Contract* This is a *Hybrid* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working to *deliver accurate financial data into SAP and other finance systems* Overview Our client is looking for a Tester (Automation) to support a data engineering team responsible for delivering accurate financial data into SAP and other finance systems. You will work closely with data engineers, Back End engineers, product managers and finance stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of data pipelines, APIs and Back End services. Key Responsibilities Design and implement testing strategies for data pipelines and APIs Validate financial data flowing into SAP and reporting platforms Perform schema validation, data reconciliation and transformation checks Develop and maintain automated tests for data systems Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines Write SQL queries to investigate and validate data issues Support monitoring and observability to detect data quality issues early Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOX and GDPR Technical Environment AWS Docker andamp; Kubernetes Git andamp; CI/CD pipelines Microsoft SQL Server Data pipelines/ETL systems Required Experience Experience testing data platforms, APIs or Back End ..... full job details .....
