Test Technician

Test TechnicianSalary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum Location: ReadingHours: 8.30am until 5pm (with flexible start/finish time).ReeVR Talent are looking for a Test Technician to join our client s manufacturing facility in Reading. Working alongside the Production Engineering team, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing and calibration of complex electro-mechanical products.This Test Technician position is a hands on role where you will build products to defined standards before carrying out testing and calibration to ensure they meet the required quality and performance criteria.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble complex electro-mechanical products in line with SOPs and specifications.Carry out testing, calibration and configuration of production equipment and devices.Perform in-process and final testing against defined acceptance criteria.Accurately record test and calibration results against product serial numbers.Maintain calibration records and support the control of production test equipment.Install and verify software and firmware during assembly and testing.Investigate faults and support repair and rework of failed or returned products.Identify and report non-conforming products through the relevant quality processes.Write, update and improve SOPs, work instructions and test procedures.Support goods-in inspection and ensure components meet the required acceptance criteria.Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality and Logistics teams to resolve issues.We ..... full job details .....
