Test Technician

Position: Test Technician Location: St Ives Salary: 31,000 - 32,000 Hours: 08:00am - 16:45pm Mon-Thurs - Fri 08:00-12:30pm Proactive are currently in search of an experienced Test Technician to work for electronics manufacturer based in St. Ives- Immediate Start Available. This is an exciting opportunity offering ample opportunity for progression and development. As a Test Technician you will be required to perform functional testing of electronic assemblies, PCBs, and finished company products.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform functional testing of electronic assemblies, PCBs, and finished products.Diagnose and fault-find down to component level on analogue and digital electronic circuits.Use test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analysers, and power supplies.Record test results, repair actions, and non-conformances in accordance with company procedures.Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.Liaise with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.Ensure all work complies with quality standards, ESD procedures, and health and safety requirements. Essential Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in electronic test based workStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skills to component level.Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and engineering drawings.Experience using: OscilloscopesDigital multimeters (DMM)Signal/function generatorsBench power suppliesLogic analysers ..... full job details .....
