Test Rig Engineer

Test Rig Engineer / Calibration Engineer / Test & Calibration Engineer required for a leading engineering services provider working at a customer site in Wolverhampton.

The successful Test Rig Engineer / Calibration Engineer / Test & Calibration Engineer will be responsible for the calibration of measuring instrumentation used within production test rig environments. You will work to recognised specifications and standards ensuring accurate documentation and traceable results, while supporting ongoing audits and contributing to continuous improvement activities.

The successful Test Rig Engineer / Calibration Engineer / Test & Calibration Engineer will have experience in calibration, electrical diagnostics and knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Test Rig Engineer / Calibration Engineer / Test & Calibration Engineer Role:

• Calibrate electrical, temperature, load, force, force, and pressure instrumentation using approved procedures
• Maintain accurate and auditable records of work, results and certificates
• Support and participate in internal and customer audits
• Produce and audit calibration procedures
• Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations

Test Rig Engineer / Calibration Engineer / Test & Calibration Engineer Requirements:

• Electrical diagnostic background
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
• Knowledge of calibration principles
• Experience in jig/ tool recertification would be advantageous
• Commutable to Wolverhampton
