      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: &amp;pound;400 - &amp;pound;450/day Outside IR35 | Type: Contract | Job Title: Test Manager    Role Type: Contract    Length: Short-term 2 weeks initial    Location: Birmingham (2 days in onsite)      We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to support a short-term pensions data ingestion project. You will lead the set-up of the test environment and define the test approach for importing calculation scheme data from Excel into a pensions platform, ensuring the data is accurate, complete and reliable for reporting and faster pension calculations.   Responsibility:    Lead test environment readiness within a two-week delivery window.  Define and document the test approach for Excel-based data ingestion.  Identify test data needs, dependencies, risks and environment constraints.  Coordinate testing activity across technical teams, data specialists and business stakeholders.  Support preparation for system, integration, data validation and UAT activity.  Set up clear defect management, reporting and escalation processes.
