About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Test Manager

to lead and establish a robust testing function within our law firm. This pivotal role will focus on delivering high-quality assurance across key legal business applications including

CRM systems ,

Intapp ,

iManage , and

Aderant . The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the firm''s testing strategy, building a team, and embedding best practices to support ongoing digital transformation and business efficiency.Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with the firm’s IT roadmap.Define test processes, standards, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Risk-Based Testing).Select and implement appropriate testing tools and frameworks.Build, lead, and mentor a team of testers (permanent and contract staff).Manage test resource planning, recruitment, onboarding, and training.Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.Project and Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to define test objectives and ensure coverage.Participate in project planning and delivery for initiatives involving CRM, Intapp, iManage, and Aderant systems.Test Management: Oversee all phases of testing: functional, integration, system, regression, UAT.Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.Create and maintain test plans, cases, scripts, and reports.Manage defect logging, tracking, and resolution.Quality Assurance and Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks related to application releases and upgrades.Ensure quality gates are met before releases go live.Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.Collaborate with third-party vendors and implementation partners and manage relationships with tool providers and oversee license renewals and upgrades.Key Applications in Scope

Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior QA Lead, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.Deep understanding of legal business systems, especially CRM, Intapp, iManage, and Aderant.Demonstrated experience setting up a testing function from scratch or significantly maturing an existing function.Strong leadership and people management skills.Proficient in test planning, execution, and reporting.Experience with manual and automated testing approaches.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with testing tools such as Azure DevOps, TestRail, Selenium, or similar.ISTQB Certification or equivalent.Experience in change management and business process improvement.Understanding of data privacy and compliance issues relevant to the legal sector.Seniority level
