On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Test Equipment Obsolescence Manager to join them on an initial 6 -month basis. Role: Test Equipment Obsolescence Manager Pay: Up to 60 per hour via Umbrella Location: Bolton Contract: 6 months (possible extension) IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: SC Clearence needed, UK eyes onlyResponsibilities Managing Proactive and Reporting ServicesImplementing Strategy for Obsolescence ManagementTechnical Assessment working with Engineering teams to manage changesManaging Resources and Work load Planning Skillset/experience required:Engineering Degree or relevant experienceKnowledge and experience of managing ObsolescenceKnowledge and experience of Electronic EquipmentYou''ll be prepared to work autonomously if needed, lead the delivery of your work assignments, and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of your outputs.Manage discreet work packages preparing bids, controlling costs and delivering solutions.Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities that this may bring and a passion for innovation and collaboration.
