Test Equipment Design Support Engineer

Our client has an opportunity for a Test Equipment Design Support Engineer to join them on a contract basis for 6 months with possible extension.Role: Test Equipment Design Support Engineer Location: Bolton, fully onsite Hourly Rate: 65 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 Clearance: BPSS required before starting, SC to followWhat you''ll be doing: You will act as the interface between our design teams and our manufacturing teams while working alongside other support engineers to provide knowledge and support. Whilst the primary aim is focused on highly advanced module missile programmes and subsystems, there is also scope to work on other unique opportunities including support to launcher assemblies.The role offers the candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline(s), whilst providing scope for personal growth and development in other areas of electronics. Requirements: Degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.Proven experience in the design of one or more of the following disciplines:-Digital and Analogue electronicsPower ElectronicsRF and AntennaInterconnectsSafety ElectronicsTest SystemsSchematic designPCB DesignAdherence to BS EN StandardsExcellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.Experience of working within a ..... full job details .....
