Key Responsibilities 1. Test Planning andamp; Execution Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for GOV.UK digital services. Identify key testing objectives and ensure coverage of user requirements across different environments. 2. Functional andamp; Non-Functional Testing Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Perform non-functional testing, including performance, security, and usability testing. 3. Automation andamp; Test Framework Development Design and implement test automation frameworks using industry best practices. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, Playwright, RestAssured (BDD), or similar frameworks. Automate API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment. 4. Defect Management andamp; Reporting Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA). Work closely with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
