We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer (Instrumentation) to join our busy Trials Engineering team. Full Security Clearance will be required, so candidates must satisfy the 5 year UK Residency requirement. The successful candidate will initially work closely with the engineering Subject Matter Experts and the Trials Team to undertake trials planning, with the focus of defining & documenting instrumentation requirements. Ensuring the selected instruments meet all trials needs through a combination of interrogating product datasheets and bench testing equipment. As the programme matures this will lead into the physical conduct of trials, Instrumentation Engineers will install, manage, maintain and interrogate vehicle installed & standalone instrumentation. The successful candidate will be expected to gather data for performance and fault finding across a wide range of system development, qualification and reliability trials including: EMC, firing, sighting, human factors and mobility.
