      <description>Location: Pitstone | Salary: 35.00-35.00 Hourly | Type: Contract | Test Engineer (Contract 6 Months)We are seeking a Test and Means Engineer to support development and qualification testing within a cross-functional engineering environment in the aerospace sector on a 6-month contract.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute development and qualification testingPrepare test documentation (plans, procedures, reports)Ensure test readiness including setup, instrumentation and safety checksSupport verification and validation activitiesWork with internal teams and external test facilitiesContribute to continuous improvement of test methods and facilitiesRequirementsExperience in test, validation or qualification engineeringExperience in the aerospace or automotive sectors, particularly working with electrical machines, motors, or similar systemsHands-on experience with electrical systems (mechanical knowledge advantageous)Ability to define and execute test methods from requirementsExperience with test/data acquisition tools (e.g. Dewesoft, DASYLab, LabVIEW desirable)Strong documentation, planning and communication skillsUnderstanding of risk assessments and safe test practicesDetails6-month contractSouth East England (commutable to Buckinghamshire / Oxford...</description>
