Terminal Operator

We are looking for a Terminal Operator at our cement terminal in Leith. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in production environments who enjoys practical work, teamwork and maintaining high safety standards. You''ll play a key role in the safe, efficient running of our terminal, helping us deliver quality products to our customers while meeting operational targets.Key Responsibilities• Operating and monitoring bulk storage and out loading plant and equipment • Assisting with the safe and efficient offloading of cement deliveries from vessels (ships)• Carrying out daily inspections, routine checks, and basic maintenance• Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety procedures and regulations• Completing documentation checks and load inspections before dispatch• Collecting and preparing production samples• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across the site• Supporting all aspects of terminal and depot operations• Helping the team meet production targets and customer expectationsSkills, Knowledge and Expertise• Experience with Loading Shovel, FLT or similar equipment• Experience working with plant machinery• Experience working in a production, manufacturing or industrial environment• Strong awareness of health and safety standards and ability to follow safety procedures and safe working practices• Valid driving license• Hands-on, reliable approach with a strong work ethic Job Benefits• Company Pension• Bonus scheme• Discount ..... full job details .....
