Tendering Engineer

Job DescriptionAre you our next Tendering Engineer?A leading global organisation has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a well-established team as a Tendering Engineer. You will work within the Tendering Team to produce quotations for medium voltage products, ensuring customer expectations are met while achieving and exceeding quotation lead times and conversion rates.What you will be doing:Produce tenders as required based on departmental workloadReview technical enquiries and identify those suitable for standard pricingCollaborate with external sales teams to support and execute strategies during the project identification phaseMaintain and update standard quotation and pricing tools to reflect market needsReview and approve tender pricing and costing estimates, submitting for management approval in line with processesConduct risk analysis and mitigation for relevant tenders and include these in approval requestsVerify that all orders received align with the quotation before handover to contractsWhat will make you successful:Strong commercial awareness of customers and their business driversSolid technical knowledge, including awareness of competitor offerings and current technologiesProven experience in contract administration and proposal managementUnderstanding of manufacturing and procurement strategies and capabilitiesStrong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contract changesWillingness to develop knowledge of commercial terms and ..... full job details .....
