Astute''s Power Team is partnering with a renewable energy organisation delivering renewables projects and associated network connections to recruit a Tendering and Design Engineer for its Bellshill site.The strategically important Tendering and Design Engineer role comes with hybrid and flexible working, 35 days'' annual leave, a company performance bonus, private healthcare, and a salary sacrifice pension scheme.If you''re a Tendering and Design Engineer and are looking to work for an organisation working at the forefront of renewable energy and high-voltage network infrastructure, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Tendering and Design Engineer roleReporting to the engineering team you will:Lead the design of substations, including layout planning, protection and control, earthing design, and auxiliary systems.Produce designs and tender submissions for connections and associated electrical infrastructure.Conduct technical site assessments and feasibility studies for HV network extensions and reinforcements.Develop detailed engineering drawings, including single line diagrams, GA layouts, schematics and wiring diagrams, using AutoCAD.Coordinate with structural and civil designers to integrate substation infrastructure and cable routes.Liaise with DNOs/IDNOs and ensure designs comply with ENA, BS, IEC and relevant DNO design standards.Prepare detailed bills of quantities and cost estimates in collaboration with the estimating team.Develop ..... full job details .....
