Tenancy Sustainment Officer

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to work with one of our Housing Association clients in London. What the Job Will be doing Managing a caseload of vulnerable residents, providing intensive tenancy sustainment support to prevent tenancy failure. Completing holistic needs assessments, home visits, risk assessments and personalised support plans. Providing specialist advice on Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Discretionary Housing Payments, Household Support Fund and other welfare benefits. Supporting residents with benefit applications, appeals, mandatory reconsiderations and income maximisation. Working proactively with residents experiencing financial hardship, helping them access grants, charitable funding and debt advice. Identifying safeguarding concerns and making referrals to Social Care and specialist support agencies where appropriate. Working closely with Housing Officers, Income Officers and external organisations to deliver joined-up support. Supporting residents to develop independent living skills and improve long-term tenancy sustainability. Chairing multi-agency meetings and coordinating support plans for complex cases. Maintaining accurate case records, support plans and performance information using housing management systems. Promoting employment, training and financial inclusion opportunities to residents.
