Tenancy Support Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Tenancy Support Officer for a Local Authority Client in Woolwich.In this role, you will provide tailored support to new build tenants, helping them settle into their homes, access the right services, and sustain their tenancies.Duties: Provide tailored tenancy support to new and vulnerable tenants during the first 6-12 months of their tenancyAssess needs, develop support plans, and make referrals to internal and external support servicesMonitor rent accounts, support benefit claims, and help prevent rent arrearsWork with housing colleagues and partner agencies to address tenancy issues and promote sustainmentQualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:Experience working with social housing tenants, ideally within a local authority or housing settingExperience of managing caseloads and delivering structured support or caseworkExperience supporting vulnerable individuals and families with complex or multiple needsExperience working with partner agencies to coordinate support and achieve positive outcomesWhat''s on offer:Salary: 23ph may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience Contract type: 3-6 months minimumHours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per weekHow to apply:Once your CV is received, if you are successful, you will be contacted.Due to the extremely high number of applications, it may not be possible to contact every applicant.
