The successful candidate will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, investigating complex and sensitive cases involving unlawful eviction, landlord harassment, discrimination, tenancy breaches and wider private rented sector enforcement matters. Key responsibilities Gather evidence to conduct investigations, interview relevant parties and prepare comprehensive case files, notices, witness statements and reports. Make proportionate recommendations for enforcement action, including civil penalties, prosecution, rent repayment orders and other legal remedies. Support warrant and court authorisation applications where required, working closely with Legal Services, courts and partner agencies.
