This is a 3-day-per-week role , with approximately 1 day per week required on site and the remaining time worked remotely. With the Renters'' Rights Act still relatively new, the council is looking for someone who can bring strong legislative knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to support tenants and landlords through potentially sensitive tenancy-related matters. Key responsibilities Provide advice and support on tenancy relations matters, including landlord and tenant disputes. Apply a strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly Sections (Apply online only) . Undertake tenancy-related enforcement work where appropriate. Work closely with the council''s Environmental Health / Private Sector Housing team , acting as a conduit between services where cases require technical or enforcement input.
