Job Title: Tenancy and Rehousing OfficerLocation: NewhamRate: £20.38 Term: Temp 3 months initially 5 days in the office Our client is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Tenancy and Rehousing Officer to support the management of council housing tenancies. This exciting role is perfect for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in the community and ensuring residents receive top-notch service throughout their housing journey. Key Responsibilities: Tenancy Sign-Ups and Lettings: Arrange and complete tenancy sign-up appointments, explaining agreements, rights, and responsibilities. Tenancy Terminations: Manage termination cases, process notices, and liaise with tenants to recover properties efficiently. Decants and Rehousing Projects: Assist residents during decant projects and provide guidance throughout the rehousing process. Customer Service: Respond to resident inquiries and resolve issues professionally, ensuring high resident satisfaction. Administration and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and monitor case progress using housing management systems. Partnership Working: Collaborate with various internal teams and external agencies to enhance service delivery. Person Specification: Knowledge: Understanding of housing services, tenancy management, and relevant legislation.
