Temporary Works Supervisor

We''re currently looking for Temporary Works Supervisor will support the safe and controlled implementation of temporary works across a major infrastructure project. Working closely with the Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC), engineering team, construction management and site supervision, the TWS will provide day-to-day supervision of temporary works within their allocated areas. The role is particularly focused on ensuring temporary works are installed, used, inspected, modified and dismantled in accordance with the approved design, temporary works procedures and agreed construction methodology. The project is a fast-paced, self-delivery environment with multiple simultaneous work fronts and a significant site workforce, requiring strong organisation, communication and site supervision. Temporary Works Supervision Supervise temporary works activities within allocated areas under the direction of the Temporary Works Coordinator. Ensure temporary works are constructed and installed in accordance with the approved design, drawings, specifications and method statements. Check that the latest approved temporary works information is available to the construction team before works commence. Ensure relevant supervisors, engineers and operatives understand the temporary works requirements applicable to their activities. Monitor temporary works throughout their installation and use.
