An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy in Central London. This role offers the chance to work on prestigious projects across the UK, with a focus on Central London, focusing on temporary works design solutions. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
• Lead the design and assessment of temporary works, including falsework, formwork, access platforms, propping, hoardings, excavation support, and crane bases. 
• Oversee a team producing detailed design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation in accordance with current codes, standards, and project requirements. 
• Liaise with site teams, project engineers, and external stakeholders to develop safe, practical, and economical solutions. 
• Undertake site visits and inspections to monitor the implementation of temporary works and provide technical support during construction. 
• Manage the approval process for temporary works, including preparation and presentation of design briefs and design risk assessments.
