London, South East Award winning Main civil engineering Contractor is seeking a driven, and ambitious individual to join their Technical Service Team based on projects across London .The successful candidate will beDegree Qualified in Civil Engineering / HND24 months Minimum design experience working in a similar position on projects including Rail, Highways and or Major structuresDemonstrate how they have sought improvements and alternative solutions using the most efficient and cost effective measuresMust have knowledge of different forms of Temporary Works, how to work to a projects programme and also knowledge of Civil Engineering construction e.g. reinforce structures, earthworks etc.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the process, resolution and communication of all design queries as part of the project.Produce temporary works designs and checks as required from the projects.Produce design risk assessments/method statementsReview suppliers’ risk assessments/method statementsExplanation of works preparations to the project managementRaise requests for further informationDeal with requests for further information from suppliers/ sub-contractorsSpecify and monitor temporary works schemesProduce outline ITP’sEnsure high standards of work production/instigate robust checking proceduresApply For This Job
