      <description>Location: Mossbay | Salary: &amp;pound;50000/annum | Type: Permanent | Carmichael are seeking a Temporary Works Engineer to join the team working on a nuclear project based in Cumbria.   Role Accountabilities   	 Detail design of temporary works or simple permanent works 	 Management of internal and external designers 	 Management of temporary works procedures 	 Independent technical review, HAZARD and Risk Review 	 Implement necessary Sellafield Ltd procedures 	 Liaison with Principal Designer and Designers 	 Learning from Experience, Safety in Design and best practice 	 Manage change control procedures 	 Internal and external progress reporting 	 Participation in Temporary Works Forum and other related organisations    Required Project knowledge   	 Understanding and working knowledge of construction methods, materials and design processes 	 12 months experience completing designs within a consultancy or temporary works design department 	 Member of an appropriate professional institution e.g. MICE. 	 Ability to deputise for the Principal Engineer if required. 	 Understands the Principal Designer Duties including ERIC</description>
