Every structure, building road etc will need some type of ducting, pipework, drains to support the facility. Temporary works for the project will include structures, manholes, duct banks, chambers, pits, excavations deep (slope stability / support systems), -access / working platforms, assemble facilities, crane / pump platforms and any temporary works for lifting operations. The Role This is a practical, design-focused role for an engineer who enjoys solving the engineering problems that sit between design and construction . You will be responsible for developing temporary works solutions for heavy civil engineering projects, taking designs from an initial construction requirement through to detailed design, checking and construction support. You will work closely with our Design Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and Site Engineers to understand how the works need to be constructed and then develop temporary works that are safe, practical, buildable and proportionate to the project requirements.
