Building on a proven track record to date, the company is now increasingly being called upon to deliver solutions on large projects in London and the South East. We are looking to recruit a design engineer with responsibility for carrying out temporary works schemes and associated design reports with scheme drawings. Role includes but is not limited to: • Undertake the design of concrete structures, groundwork and formwork systems • Select the appropriate temporary works solution for a scheme • Produce calculation reports in line with design codes • Produce workshop drawings to illustrate the temporary works solution selected • Produce designer risk assessments • Work with permanent works designer to integrate the temporary solution where possible • Liaise with clients and all members of the design team when necessary Requirements: • Applicants should have a good knowledge of building codes such as EC2 & BS 5975 • Possess a civil or structural engineering degree working towards chartership • Good working knowledge of 3D softw...
