This is a brand-new role within the Design/Engineering team, offering the opportunity to work on technically challenging bridge and structural steel projects. The position is site-based in Manchester, so applicants must be able to commute to the facility daily.The RoleDevelop safe and practical temporary works designs for bridge and structural engineering projectsUndertake structural analysis, engineering calculations and technical designPrepare and review drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentationIdentify design risks and develop appropriate engineering solutionsSupport design reviews, technical meetings and project teamsWork closely with Project Managers, CAD Technicians and EngineeringEnsure designs comply with relevant standards, client requirements and engineering proceduresSupport value engineering and continuous improvementThe approved role profile places particular emphasis on structural analysis, calculations and delivering temporary works solutions that are suitable for construction and installation.
