Previous experience on major projects for tier one Contractors as a Lead/Senior TWC managing complex civil and structural elements like bridges, precast elements, deep drainage, shoring etc would be advantageous. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, this role is to manage temporary works for the Scheme to ensure all elements are delivered safely, to the required quality, on time and within budget, all in line with the scheme design and associated highway specifications and in compliance with the Development Consent Order requirements. This role will also be appointed as the Lead Appointed Person for Lifting on the Scheme. Responsibilities Ability and independence to make engineering decisions that will not be compromised by commercial, programme or other pressures. Assumed methods of construction and loading constraints. Capable and have the knowledge and experience to assess the competence of any TW Supervisors they appoint.
