Temporary Site Manager

Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a well-established client specialising in electrical and solar projects, who is seeking an experienced Temporary Site Manager for an upcoming project based in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor on a fast-paced project with a strong pipeline of work.

Project Details:

• Start Date: 13.04.2026
• Duration: Approximately 3 months
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00
• Rate: £270 – £280 per day

Role & Responsibilities:
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Duties will include:

• Managing site activities and maintaining a well-organised, productive environment
• Ensuring all personnel sign in and out in line with site procedures
• Upholding and enforcing strict health and safety standards at all times
• Coordinating and liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with programme and quality expectations
• Acting as the key point of contact on site, ensuring clear communication across all parties

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Site Manager or similar supervisory role
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• Valid First Aid at Work qualification
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• A proactive and professional approach to site management
• Electrical or solar experience is not essential
