Job Title: Temporary Receptionist
Location: Glasgow
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary
Working Hours: 8.30 AM- 5 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: -13.00 per hour
Our client, a well-established and respected corporate business, is looking for a friendly and professional Temporary Receptionist to join their team. This role is all about creating a great first impression and helping ensure things run smoothly at the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet visitors, clients, and staff with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Call Handling: Manage a busy switchboard, directing calls efficiently and accurately.
- Inbox Management: Manage the general email inbox and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Meeting Room Coordination: Schedule and prepare meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean, equipped, and ready for use.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general office tasks such as mail distribution, courier bookings, data entry, and document handling.
- Facilities Liaison: Report maintenance issues and liaise with facilities teams to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a reception or front-of-house role is essential.
- Well-presented and a professional, friendly demeanour.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards.
