Temporary Purchasing Project Assistant

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a successful international manufacturing business based in Norwich, for a Temporary Purchasing Project Assistant to support a key supply chain compliance project. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong administration and data management skills to join a busy Supply Chain team. The role will support the collection, validation and maintenance of supplier data to ensure compliance with import regulations and internal business requirements. Key Responsibilities:Collect, validate and maintain supplier data, including country of origin and material content information.Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain and verify compliance-related information.Maintain accurate supplier and product records within company systems.Support compliance with import requirements and country-of-origin regulations.Work closely with colleagues across UK and international operations.Assist with the development and testing of business reports to support compliance and decision-making.Ensure tariff code and origin information is accurately maintained within business systems.Support internal audits and respond to compliance-related queries.Identify and resolve gaps or inconsistencies in supplier data.Requirements for the role:Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, supply chain or administrative support role.Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Strong ..... full job details .....
