This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a long-term temporary assignment with an immediate start.The RoleWorking as part of the finance team, you''ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier invoices while supporting the wider purchase ledger function.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of purchase invoices accuratelyMatching, batching and coding invoicesReconciling supplier statementsResolving invoice queries and liaising with suppliersPreparing payment runsMaintaining accurate financial recordsSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrationAbout YouWe''re looking for someone who has:Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable roleStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsThe ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlinesGood communication skills and a proactive approachExperience using finance systems and Microsoft ExcelThe DetailsLocation: NewcastleHours: 37.5 hours per weekWorking Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pmPay Rate: 14.00 per hourContract: Temporary ongoingStart Date: Immediate ..... full job details .....
