Temporary Mechanical Planner

Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a leading Mechanical and Electrical contractor who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Planner to join their team on a major project based in Llantrisant.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor on a high-profile project, offering an initial contract of approximately 12 months, with the potential for an extension.The RoleAs the Mechanical Planner, you will play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of the project. Working closely with the project management, engineering and commercial teams, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining detailed project programmes to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, update and maintain detailed project programmes from pre-construction through to project completion.Produce short-term and long-term programmes, progress reports and look-ahead schedules.Monitor project progress against the baseline programme and identify potential delays or risks.Work closely with project managers, site teams and subcontractors to ensure programmes remain achievable and up to date.Identify critical path activities and implement mitigation strategies where required.Prepare programme updates for client and internal meetings.Analyse programme performance and provide recommendations to improve project delivery.Support resource planning and sequencing of mechanical installation activities.Coordinate ..... full job details .....
