Temporary Fund Accountant London Rolling temporary contract £200 - £250 per day This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing venture capital firm based in Central London. The company is looking to hire a Fund Accountant who is available to start as soon as possible. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of venture capital, and the chance to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Maintain the general ledger and prepare periodic financial statements for venture capital fundsDevelop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planningAssist in capital call and distribution processes, including investor allocations and noticesReconcile bank accounts, investment activity, and fund expenses.Prepare quarterly and annual investor reports, including waterfall calculations and performance metricsSupport audit and tax preparation processes by coordinating with external auditors and tax advisorsEnsure compliance with fund agreements, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, including preparing FCA returnsTrack portfolio company valuations and updating internal systems accordinglyCollaborate with the investment team to understand deal structures and fund flowsAssist in on-boarding new funds and investors, including setting up accounting systems and processesWHAT YOU WILL HAVE/BE:Qualified Accountant ( ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or actively studying towards completion.Prior ..... full job details .....
