Temporary Financial Accountant Location: ChesterfieldContract: Temporary, 6 monthsHours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday office based Start Date: ASAPSalary: £35,000 About the Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable accountant to join our professional services business in Chesterfield on a temporary basis for an initial six-month project. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who can quickly get up to speed, work independently, and provide accurate and efficient bookkeeping support throughout the project. Key Responsibilities Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions Processing sales and purchase invoices Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgerss Resolving queries and discrepancies Providing general finance and administrative support as required Helping to ensure financial records are accurate, complete and up to date About You We are looking for someone who is: You will have a strong track record in accountaning in your career to date Confident working independently and managing their own workload Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Comfortable working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Reliable, professional and able to work to deadlines Experienced within a professional services environment would be advantageous Immediately available or available to start at short notice would be beneficial What We Offer A six-month ..... full job details .....
