Description
Temporary Finance Assistant:
- Process and reconcile financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks as required.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Respond to internal and external financial queries in a timely manner.
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Temporary Finance Assistant should have:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Proficiency in financial software or systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the retail industry is advantageous.
